Meridian names Ladouceur Vice President

Meridian Air Charter, the charter sales arm of Meridian, is pleased to announce that Andrew Ladouceur has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Charter Sales and Client Services. Ladouceur has extensive industry experience, having worked in corporate aviation for over twenty years. He graduated from the State University of New York at Farmingdale with a degree in Aviation Management. Andrew began his career at Meridian in 2003 as Director of Charter Sales, and he was responsible for managing and developing the Air Charter group over the last 8 years.

Dennis O’Connell, President of Meridian Air Charter, had this to say: “We at Meridian feel that Andrew’s promotion was an appropriate way to recognize the many contributions that he has made to the development and growth of our charter business over the years. He truly understands the needs of our clients, and how to navigate the rough waters of a business that can be very difficult to manage at times.”

In his new role as VP, Mr. Ladouceur will continue to be responsible for managing the Air Charter business domestically, as well as have new responsibilities for seeking to grow the business internationally as private aviation expands into emerging markets.

Emma Berkovits appointed at HighProfile as new Sales Manager

Emma Berkovits, (30) is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University de Providence (Rhode Island) International Business MBA. In 2005, she held a position of Risk Credit Underwriter at Coface North America. After two successful years in New York, she was recruited by Le Club Med to handle a hospitality career in Marrakesh (Morocco).

Back to France, Emma joined the flagship of French Business Aviation, Dassault Falcon as a Sales Representative. Slowly but surely, she learned all aspects of sales, management and international operations with its large fleet of Falcons.

“Besides being the first GA destination in Europe, Business aircraft use is not mature enough in France compared to the United States or Middle East,” says Emma. “However, it is an incomparable “business tool" which permits a considerable gain of time for business men, board management and VIPs.

“The operational and technical experience gained during my previous positions are more than essential to be an excellent broker.” She is highly trained to be reactive to VIP and board management last minute changes. “I am glad to join HighProfile and my daily focus now is to switch from a developed start-up to a major player in Europe."

Perfect Aviation successfully moves flight operations

In November 2011, Perfect Aviation successfully moved its flight operations department from its Etoy, Switzerland head quarters to its Lisbon, Portugal subsidiary office. The move caused no interruption of service delivery. The relocation of this manpower intensive 24/7 function, which is part of the continued efforts of the Perfect Aviation Group to optimize its organization and resources in the interests of its growing international clientele, will reduce the exposure to the persistently high value of the Swiss franc.

Perfect Holding SA, listed on the SIX Swiss exchange, and its subsidiaries are dedicated to the following services to the business aircraft market: aircraft management and operations, worldwide charters, aircraft acquisitions and sales as well as aircraft consultancy.
