Blink, Europe's first air taxi service, has launched Blink Focus, a new and innovative frequent flyer program. Blink Focus rewards customers by allowing them to enjoy free trips on Blink.
While major commercial airlines have a frequent flyer scheme, Blink is the firs air taxi or business jet operator to offer one--another example of Blink changing business travel in Europe. Carrying up to four passengers, Blink's fleet of next-generation business jets provides unrivalled access to over 600 convenient destinations throughout Europe.
Blink delivers all the benefits of personal air travel at prices competitive with commercial business class and is up to 50% cheaper than existing private jet services.
So how does Blink Focus work? Very simply--every time a Blink customer purchases a full-fare ticket, ten percent of the value of the flight is credited to their Blink Focus account. The accumulated credit can then be used to pay for any future Blink flight.
There are no limits to the amount that can be accrued and the credit does not expire. The Focus account is easy to open. When a client books their first full-fare flight, a Blink Flight Services representative will open the Blink Focus account and they will begin accruing credit.
Since launching in June 2008, Blink has pioneered air taxi in Europe. Blink has experienced significant demand from both corporations and individuals for a service that meets a need for low-cost, on demand point-to-point airline. Since launch, over 300 unique customers ranging from FTSE 100 corporations to small and medium-sized enterprises have enjoyed Blink's productivity-enhancing service. In many cases, Blink's low cost has allowed customers to enjoy the benefits of a business jet for the first time.
"With the launch of Blink Focus, we are making a clear statement to our clients--we value their business [and] will recognize their loyalty to us," said Managing Director and co-founder of Blink Peter Leiman. "Our clients want to be rewarded for their loyalty and we expect our clients will use us more as Focus program members. For example, by flying Blink for business, they can Blink for free for their own personal trips."
Cameron Ogden, Managing Director and co-founder of the organization added, "Blink already provides exceptional value, with costs competitive with commercial airlines. Blink Focus enables us to become even more attractive to business travellers looking for a cost-effective alternative to inefficient commercial travel."
